Scheduling System Deployment & Playout Expansion

FGC delivered a major upgrade and expansion of Saudi TV’s playout operations, enhancing the broadcaster’s ability to manage and schedule content across multiple channels with greater efficiency and control.

The project included the expansion of a 12-channel playout system and the deployment of an integrated scheduling platform connected with media asset management and playout automation systems.

Our team developed an end-to-end media workflow covering acquisition, contracts, production, censorship stages, and on-air broadcasting — all while ensuring zero interruption to daily transmission operations.

Al Arabiya Media Network

FGC partnered with Al Arabiya Media Network to deliver multiple integrated broadcast environments within the Riyadh Diplomatic Quarter, supporting a fast-paced and continuously evolving media operation.

The project included the design, supply, installation, integration, and commissioning of several key production spaces, including Al Arabiya Al Hadath Studio, news areas, podcast studios, social gallery studios, and graphics and edit suites.

Beyond installation, the project required careful coordination across timelines, workflows, and operational requirements. Our team oversaw all project phases, ensuring equipment availability, maintaining strict quality and safety standards, and delivering each environment in line with the network’s operational expectations.

Archiving Systems Deployment & Backlog Ingest

FGC supported the establishment of a centralized archive and Media Asset Management (MAM) system for the National Archive Center of Saudi TV, helping preserve and modernize decades of broadcast history.

The project connected radio and studio production centers across multiple regions while incorporating a disaster recovery site in Jeddah. A major part of the initiative involved digitizing more than 250,000 video and audio assets.

Our team developed workflows that enabled seamless integration between archive, production, and remote facilities, creating a more accessible and resilient content management environment for long-term preservation and operational efficiency.

Ekhbariyah News Channels – System Upgrade

This large-scale turnkey project focused on modernizing the operational workflow of Ekhbariyah’s 24/7 news channels through a fully integrated production and newsroom ecosystem.

FGC delivered and deployed a comprehensive Avid and Vizrt environment covering ingest, newsroom systems, editing suites, graphics, studio control, media storage, and playback systems. One of the project’s most critical challenges was migrating to the new infrastructure without disrupting live broadcast operations.

Despite the operational pressures and the additional complexities brought by the COVID-19 period, the project was delivered with uninterrupted on-air continuity, including full support during dry runs, launches, and post-live operations.

Playout System Upgrade

As part of Bahrain’s broadcast modernization efforts, FGC designed and deployed a next-generation playout system serving six television channels based on SMPTE ST 2110 IP infrastructure.

The project introduced a fully integrated ecosystem that included automation systems, ingest and playout media servers, graphics, orchestration, and IP-based control systems. Our role extended beyond deployment to workflow planning, operator training, and system optimization.

The solution combined technologies from industry-leading providers including Pebble Beach Systems, Vizrt, Harmonic, and Grass Valley, creating a scalable and highly reliable broadcast environment designed for long-term operational continuity.

Studio A XR Transformation

FGC was entrusted with the transformation of Studio A for Saudi One, reimagining the channel’s primary news and talk-show environment into a modern broadcast facility built around flexibility, immersive storytelling, and live production performance.

The project involved a complete redesign of the studio space, integrating advanced XR technologies, augmented and virtual reality systems, high-performance LED displays, and sophisticated lighting infrastructure. Every element was carefully coordinated to support dynamic programming formats while maintaining seamless broadcast operations.

Working alongside leading international manufacturers and broadcast technology partners, our team managed the design, fabrication, and integration processes from concept to delivery. The result was a future-ready studio environment designed to support evolving content demands while enhancing the viewer experience.
